For my horny mixtape, I selected tracks that make me feel grounded and in my body—music that makes me shake my hips, snap my fingers and throw my hands up in the air. I wanted to take the listener on a journey of embracing their own sexuality, and to bring them face to face with the thoughts and feelings that they might encounter over that process. Sometimes it feels cheeky and flirty, slinky and slippery, aggressive and throbbing. In the end, I hope it makes you feel excited and empowered, and that you’ll listen to it as a way to celebrate yourself, wherever you are on your journey to self-acceptance <3

Banging the box for our 5th entry is Karim Olen Ash, a Toronto based hometown favorite, gaining notoriety both locally and abroad for his euphorically infectious sounds. Drawing inspiration from house legends like Derrick Carter & Honey Dijon, Karim seamlessly melds house, techno, club, and disco, striking a harmonious balance between intensity and tranquility.
