Love Bite

Following Ethan Hollan's first single release 'Love Bite', 'Love Bite II' reimagines the song accompanied with a piano, bass, and drum ensemble. Contrasting from the summery, upbeat vibes of the first volume, this new rendition paints a vulnerable, stripped-back image, featuring the vocal, piano, and bass guitar performances of Ethan Hollan, harmonising together to create a raw, live, and emotional feeling.

Love Bite II

Forest was written during the peak of lock down, overlooking the trees from my bedroom window. The isolation and longing for nature during this time inspired the lyrics for the song.
The song expresses the feeling of numbness and dissociation from yourself and the environment around you.

The Forest was something that I used to ground myself. Embracing the open and freeing feeling of being in nature.

As things became easier I introduced my friends and loved ones to share the peace that I had for the Forest. They are truly lights in my life and I am beyond thankful for their love and support in encouraging me to come this far.

When you listen to Forest I hope you take a moment to stop and feel something. It is so easy to become lost in yourself, but there will always be a hand to guide you out of it.

Thought I'd create something dreamy - the stage where you're just drifting, but not yet asleep.

I recorded, mixed and mastered all of this  in my bedroom. My friend Jacob Kane did the drum track for me.
