1. Tell us how you came up with name, Abstract Drumz.
Originally I called myself DJ Abstract but I found out there was another Drum & Bass artist that used the same name in the late ‘90s. So I added the word “Drumz” from one of my favourite tunes, Doc Scott “Here Come The Drumz”

2. Tell us about upcoming releases and djing gigs.
. I’ve retired from playing DJ gigs (I’m an old git lol) but I’ve got lots of releases planned for next year, I can’t give anything away yet though!

3. In 250 characters or less, tell us a funny joke.
My music “career” 🤣🤣🤣 Adrian is a funny dude, check out his facebook posts, that's why I asked him for a joke.  I will tell you, he's a great producer, his music career is no joke!

Part 2 of the Christmas Jam Pack is one for the Ibiza season heads. If you did a season and don’t know about Mo’s Deli in San An then unfortunately you may as well not have bothered. Situated near Golden Buddha & Jesus shop, this deli was the hidden jewel in the crown of San Antonio. Forget the partying, forget the beaches, Mo, a lovely Moroccan fellow and his missus (I have no idea what her name was), a wonderful British lady, used to spend all winter making jar after jar of sweet chilli jam for the enjoyment of any young whippersnapper who dared to buy a bocadillo from them. Bit of a love story actually, they eloped and moved to the island after meeting there whilst on holiday over 20 years ago (Very cute) and had a kid together before opening dual shops.

Anyway the tune is an edit of Se62 - Endorphins, the original being one of those tracks that caught my ear the second I heard it. If you don’t know the beat it was released on Rhythm & Vibe a few years ago but I wanted to add my own flavour to it because I loved the baseline so much. This year has easily been the hardest year of my life and most likely everyone else's, so to round off this abomination of a 12 months I thought I'd give away some free music. Therefore I present to you: The Christmas Jam Pack 2020, a collection of 2 original Jammy productions as well as 2 sticky edits that would sit nicely with a Victoria Sponge.

The only thing that's kept me sane throughout this entire period has been the comfort of being able to lock myself away and work on beats for months on end and so I hope that the fruits of my labour can bring some enjoyment to others over this incredibly muted xmas period.

The History of Jungle Show returns with another very special guest mix, this time welcoming Tim Reaper back onto the Dejavufm.com airwaves! 
Not much needs to be said about Tim Reaper. Over the last decade Tim has been producing some of the finest jungle music about, and has cemented himself as one of the frontrunners of the current jungle revival. With releases on Lobster Theremin, GreenBay Wax, Dalston Chillies and our very own Disrupt Records, as well as a recent remix collaboration with Special Request on SHERELLE's HOOVERSOUND, Tim is showing no signs of slowing down. He has also recently launched his own label, Future Retro with collaborations with a number of artists through his 'Meeting of Minds' series.
