A little about the Production...
When I first heard the song, I knew straight away I wanted to give this a bash. Everything came together really nicely with this and is probably my best work to date.
As the song only had DIs, I started with dialling tones for the guitars and the bass first, and only then did I start mixing the drums after. Drums were also midi drums so I grab my favourite sample library but this time around I added supporting layers to the Kick, Snare and Toms. Can NOT believe I havent been doing this until now, makes such a difference.

Mastering stage was pretty minimal to be honest, Bit of tape saturation to start, then into my new favourite compressor (bx-townhouse), a touch of multiband compression, EQ, EQ and more EQ, clipping and then finished off with some limiting.

I've stepped out of my comfort zone for the first time in a while and even though this is totally not metal... I absolutely loved it!

So I tried to keep this one fairly simply, so nothing really special went into working on this, and I really like how it turned out. 
A touch of Drum editing plus some additional reverb for it (kit was lacking room mics), most of the others tracks have EQ, Compression, Saturation, maybe some more compression on the buses and a handful of blended FX tracks just to polish up vocals

The guys needed some quick help to have a couple of songs slapped together for promotional reason. 

So yeah, just a demo, but I still loved how it came out.

Hey all, hope you enjoyed this mix. Got a few insights to what I used on the song. 
Firstly in no way did i replace any of the drums but I did add a couple of triggers. a kick trigger which has a bit of that Thrashy click to it, I was torn between that and a fear factory kick I had but I felt this worked nicely with the rest of the kick tracks. 
I also added a snare trigger for a bit more body and mid punch.
Lastly on the drums I added some additional reverb to the snare and toms and blended them with the rest of the Room tracks.
Guitars were reamped using Neural DSP's Granophyre and the NTS Suite. Grano for the rhythms and crunch, NTS on the leads and cleans.
Bass was also reamped using Mammoth by Aurora DSP.
