Dynamic NYC-based artists, Kahani and HARJI, have joined forces to serve up this summer’s secret weapon for Ibiza dance floors. Their collaborative track, “New York Giddha,” is a transformative fusion of tradition and a whole new genre of sound, Indo-house, masterfully blending a reimagined traditional Punjabi folk dance with New York's unique tribal house touch.

Kahani, known for his integration of Punjab folklore vocals into contemporary house sounds, has built his reputation on headline performances at world-renowned venues such as Avant Gardner in Brooklyn and Sound in Los Angeles. His label, Indo Warehouse, aims to be category leaders in South Asian electronic sound and are headed on a 20+ city global tour this year.

HARJI, a Brooklyn resident originally hailing from New Delhi, India, is a multi-disciplined artist known for his unique, boundary-pushing sound that combines numerous styles and influences. His performances are a refreshing exploration of the world of electronic music, having captivated audiences from Beirut's The Gärten by Uberhaus to the underground warehouse parties of Brooklyn.

Speaking about the collaboration with Kahani, Harji shares, "I think Armaan [Kahani] has a really good ear for what works on the dancefloor, he just gets it. We first met at my studio, we were sharing a few project files, and we knew right away this song was the one. Both our sounds lean more on the groove and percussion side, so this collaboration felt so natural. The energy of this song is exactly what we both envisioned would play at a venue like Hi Ibiza at 2am!" This electrifying collaboration between New York City's up-in-coming talent Kahani and HARJI promises to deliver a unique sound experience that stands out in the bustling dance music scene.

Anvaya, Areublue, & Payal Jay all feature on this new EP for Indo Warehouse, which is one of the house world's most innovative and influential labels right now. Garba SZN 2 is the follow-up to last year's Garba SZN featuring Kahani and Kunal Merchant. These EPs are inspired by the rich musical traditions of Garba, which is a cultural dance celebrated across India during this time of the year.

Indo Warehouse is a fresh new musical movement in the States with a rich cultural sound drawn from label heads Kahani and Kunal Merchant's South Asian heritage. They define and curate each experience with South Asian-inspired artifacts and textures, soundtracked with hypnotic, emotive, and percussive grooves and the label is a perfect embodiment of what to expect from each.

Anvaya - Haa Re Maa opens up with a deep and spine-tingling mix of pads, organic percussion and deep drums that lock you into a hypnotic state. Areublue x Payal Jay offer Duha which is another deft and organic groove with ethnic pads and worldly melodies that bring fresh flavour to house music. Anvaya's Sona Keru then layers up lush strings and spellbinding vocals with tribal drums and the effect is stirring emotionally and physically. Last of all is Areublue x Payal Jay with Mahisagar, a slower track with a percolating baseline and Indian vocals casting a fine spell.

This is another unique outing for this most standout label.
