Ethnor is a back with "The King" - presenting modern take on classic Grieg's piece, re-imagining it with a atmospheric black metal vibe and some agressive death metal riffs.

“Desert Winds” prominently features clean passages alongside darkwave era Ulver instrumentation. This creates a brooding middle of the album that transforms it from “only” a collection of great and heavy tracks into something much more complex. This compostion is an effective fusion of Doom Metal, Ulver, Depressive Black Metal acts and some Faith No More-ish vocals with God only knows what else.

Back then, on the ashes of Decadent project, the new name was born - ETHNOR. Band members had industrial death metal music in mind at that time, but in years to come the sound had shifted gradually.

With the new sound came new band members, new material, new acquintances and new shows. That's how it is now. But "VIRUS" is all about how it began.

Ethnor continues the journey through Sahara desert in their new single from forthcoming full-length album - 'The Ritual'! 

The song marks the very first collaboration of Ethnor with famous Italian musician and sound producer Tommy Talamanca (Sadist / Morgana).

Spirits of the ancestors will show the protagonist his true purpose and predestination, but will he be able to interpret the dark prophecy correctly and return from the shadow world unscathed?
