The idea of self is taking everything that had ever happened, stitch them together into a general abstract idea THAT CAN CHANGE DAY TO DAY AS EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT THINGS. 
I'm an outsider viewing the world from all different perspectives, never fitting in.... 

WE MUST USE THE PAST AND COME TO KNOW OURSELVES SO THAT WE CAN CREATE/INFLUENCE & EDUCATE OUR FUTURE.
