Pour célébrer ses 3 ans en musique, le label Ethos Records, fondé par Antoine Robin et Baptiste Gauthier, dévoile son troisième various artists « Dancing Poetry III ». Acteurs engagés sur la scène rennaise, les deux artistes aspirent à proposer, à travers leur projet, une expérience musicale sensorielle sans étiquettes afin de valoriser l’émotion. Cette nouvelle sortie réunit donc les dernier·es artistes coup de cœur du label, venu·es de la scène locale comme internationale, offrant une exploration sonore éclectique et profonde. Parmi les invité·es, on retrouve la DJ et productrice suisse Chewlie et sa track « Severe », qu’on vous fait découvrir en avant-première sur Technopol. Adepte des sonorités bass et rythmiques disloqués, Chewlie nous offre un titre aux textures métalliques, résonances subtiles et basses puissantes, transmettant une énergie plus directe, tout en restant fidèle au sound design immersif et à la complexité qui fait la richesse de ses compositions musicales.

@SSSLIP and @Betonbrutt have tapped up grime pioneer Trim to add his bars on 17th Grid release, pressed for the first time on vinyl !

Trim steps up to the mic for the lead track, 'Pigeons', which brings next-gen grime energy with raw, club-ready vibes and menacing bars that are underpinned by a wobbly low end, and it's all perfect for dance floor detonation. 'Transit Limb' dives into a nostalgic yet forward-thinking fusion of experimental grime and UK bass that subtly echoes the sounds of the early 2010s with twisted breaks and chopped vocals.
The boys also invited @Notiiton and @BeatriceMasters for two great remixes, Noti turned the lead track into a precise electro banger and Beatrice drowned Transit Limb to the darkest depths of the ocean to close the EP.

Slacker's You Don't Care gets a spin courtesy of Europe’s other mega metropolis. Paris-based De Grandi morphs You Don’t Care into a step-friendly basstech track in his latest remixing endeavor. In this remix, two heavy driving sections are laced together by a rather introverted bridge to allow dancers to regain their footing. As per the rest of the project, the remix maintains elements of the original vocal chop while introducing new percussive and rhythmical accoutrement.
