I did this as part of a youtube contest by samuraiguitarist. The idea was to take some random notes he provided and make music with it. The notes provided reminded me of the Dies Irae, "Day of Wrath," sequence. Image by DALL-E 2.

Dies Irae

Hey guys, my mindset for this track started as "Iggy and the Stooges with synthesizers" and it quickly morphed from there.

Fastest idea to mix I ever did--less than 24 hours, not counting the bass interlude I wrote back in the 80's but never used until now.

I'm working on more tracks, some with no guitar, some with synths and guitar, and some with vocals.

No Way Out

Finally finished this track! Will be my last track recorded using Garageband. :)

Take a little Kraftwerk, a little Tornados, a little Soft Cell. and put them in a rocket ship and shoot them into outer space. No guitars, but lots of vocals (wait for it)!

Big Space

Fascinated by synths and guitars for decades now. I started writing songs before I knew how to play any instruments. Didn't take any lessons until I had been playing guitar for about 20 years. Been in some bands and projects over the years. Recently decided I better start recording some of the music in my head before it is lost forever.
