Lemon & Herb is a trio of producers/djs from KZN (Kwazulu Natal Province in South Africa), namely Don Sithole, Skhumbuzo Radebe and Thansanqa Ntintili. 

Ocha Records is excited to present to you their debut full-length release. It includes the hits, "Velani", "Heaven" and "For the Birds" as well as some amazing new tunes that should find a place on your playlist for months and years to come. 

Lemon & Herb's first release on Ocha Records, "Velani" was supported and beaten into submission by Osunlade, Louie Vega and Black Coffee, to name a few of DJs that we love. Other DJs that supported this moving song included, Culoe de Song, Master Kev, Danny Krivit, Simbad, and Atjazz. But even before that success, they had already won a remix contest for their work on the Atjazz and Robert Owens tune "Love Someone".

Hideo Kobayashi teams up with one of Japan's top club music acts, Coldfeet's Watusi and singer, Lori Fine. One of only a handful of Japanese club music acts to be exported out of Japan since the 1990s, releasing stuff out of Compost, King Street, Disorient, etc., Coldfeet makes a comeback from an extended break as a duo to collaborate with Hideo and co-produce, this sun-drenched, joyous, deep house track, Look For Light that features Lori Fine's sentimental lyrics and vocals. The original is backed up by stellar remixes by veteran Swedish producer, Eric Ericksson. Having graced some of the top labels such as Fragile, Planet E, Freerange, Local Talk, recording with Daniel Howe as North Beach, co-running Kass Recordings, he works the original into a funky, tough-beated, electrified, blissed out house affair.

Brilliantly crafted House Music delivered with finesse. In places these two songs cover the deeper side of house music but can be definite and aggressive to keep your dance-floor busy. Let's face it, deep house isn't what it used to be and it is currently being dragged through the commercial market but with this superb release Ben has comfortably brought that sound we love and keep in such high regard back to its original space. 'Monochord' is punchy, edgy & flowing and is well coupled with 'Be About It', a more thoughtful and rootsy number that you won't struggle to fit into your sets either, this is just very good music! 

This is a great label debut from a very talented man. This is a must have in your collection.
