BBC ESSENTIAL MIX PARAMIDA

This Is est un nouveau format de mixtape où je me focalise sur un artiste ou un label en particulier. On commence avec @alexkassian, évidement.

Alex Kassian est un DJ, producteur et musicien basé à Berlin. Né à Kyoto, il s’est fait un nom dans la scène musicale électronique avec un style distinctif qui mêle des éléments de trance mélodique, de house progressive, d’ambiant et de synth-pop. Il est le cofondateur du label Planet Sundae et fait partie du duo @opalsunn. Kassian est également associé au label @loveontherocks de son amie @paramida et contribue à son émission mensuelle sur @refugeworldwide.

Il y a des artistes qui se distinguent par leur singularité, alliant un parcours unique et une sensibilité artistique unique. Ces éléments confèrent à leur musique une qualité presque indescriptible. Alex Kassian fait indéniablement partie de cette catégorie. Ses productions dégagent une forme d’élégance rare dans la musique électronique, mêlant des mélodies synthétiques envoûtantes, des percussions organiques et des influences profondément personnelles.

J’ai rassemblé dans ce premier mix une sélection de productions originales et de remixes qui, selon moi, reflètent son talent et mettent en lumière la variété des univers qu’il explore depuis plus d’une décennie :
