Fajny klimat, ciekawi mnie z czego takie soczyste teksty zostały wyciągnięte 👌

Postanowiłem opublikować set, od którego wszystko się zaczęło. Zarejestrowany został podczas zupełnie pierwszego występu projektu, który wówczas nie miał jeszcze nazwy. Był rok 2017, miejsce to Dzik a okazja to Festiwalu Niewinni Czarodzieje, organizowany przez Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego. I właśnie w obliczu pozytywnego odbioru, z jakim spotkałem się po tym koncercie zdecydowałem się kontynuować projekt i wydać fragmenty live’a jako osobne numery. Pare miesięcy później ukazała się „Wisła Skarbów”.

Dlaczego zdecydowałem się udostępnić ten miks teraz? Ponieważ tym samym zamykam pewien rozdział w historii Skarbów. Wraz z ostatnim albumem poszedłem krok dalej, zmieniłem muzyczny pejzaż na nieco żwawszy, zdecydowanie rzadziej również występuję w formule live z zespołem (na rzecz setów didżejskich). To był wspaniały czas, poznałem po drodze wielu świetnych ludzi, m.in. Patryka Rogozińskiego oraz Grzegorza Lalka (na zdjęciu) - znakomitych muzyków, którzy byli z projektem od samego początku, wliczając w to wspomniany występ. Niestety, ich partie nie zostały zarejestrowane. :(

Poza tym jest to okazja do zapoznania się z początkami projektu, usłyszenia wczesnych wersji utworów oraz paru bootlegów, które nie zostały wcześniej opublikowane. Fragmenty tego mixtape’u mogliście zresztą usłyszeć na żywo podczas moich występów aż po dziś dzień, więc nie zdziwcie się, jeśli będziecie kojarzyć momenty ;)

Skalpel spotyka The Very Polish Cut Outs - aż dziwne, że do tak oczywistej współpracy dochodzi dopiero teraz! Okazja jest jednak nie byle jaka: 20-ta rocznica premiery debiutanckiego, kultowego już, albumu duetu Skalpel.

Debiut Marcina Cichego i Igora Pudło w Ninja Tune bez wątpienia zmienił oblicze polskiej muzyki, przedefiniował percepcję rodzimego kanonu i wytyczył nowe ścieżki młodszym twórcom. Bez wątpienia także TVPCO Skalpelowi zawdzięczają bardzo wiele. Owocem tej mentalnej i przyjacielskiej więzi są remiksy podpisane przez Zuchy i Pejzaż - dwójkę przedstawicieli TVPCO.

„Together" w pejzażowej interpretacji zaskakuje rozmachem - zamiast kontrabasowej repetycji oraz kameralnych współbrzmień trąbki i wibrafonu, porywa nas wyrazisty beat i rozlane, ciepłe klawiszowe barwy. Wychodzimy z zadymionej piwnicy, by złapać oddech nadmorskiej bryzy i dać się porwać pejzażowej synth-wave. Aż chciałoby się krzyknąć: "pod chodnikami znajduje się plaża!"

Zuchy brykają na tej plaży w karnawałowym rytmie i na wyrazistym melodycznym motywie z „High" rozkręcają acidowe party. Opener ze skalpelowego debiutu nabiera tu rytmicznej muskulatury, nadal zachowując jednak aurę tajemniczości i ulotny wdzięk. Autorskie remiksy „Break In" i „Together" naprowadzają nas na brytyjską ścieżkę. Oba mogłyby znaleźć się na nagrodzonym Fryderykiem, ostatnim albumie studyjnym Skalpela "Origins".

Cichy i Pudło wychodzą z hip-hopowy jazzowych korzeni (własnych i wytwórni Ninja Tune), aktualizując swoją autorką wizję o rytmicznej wzorce
Uk-garage i dubstepu. W „Break In" zamiast „garidżowego" haju i skunk-paranoi, słyszymy nośny basowy riff, porywającą rytmiczną wibrację i niepowtarzalny skalpelowi klimat. Z kolei synkopowane breaki „Together", szczególnie w zestawieniu z wersją, którą proponuje Pejzaż, pokazują jak niezwykły potencjał miał i wciąż ma debiutancki materiał duetu.
To płyta, która się nie starzeje, nadal zachwyca, niezmiennie inspiruje i prowokuje do nowych odczytań. „Cut-Outs" EP jest tego doskonałym potwierdzeniem.

Skalpel „Cut-Outs" EP powstało we współpracy TVPCO z NoPaper Records. Jak zapowiada zespół, to preludium do obchodów tegorocznego jubileuszu – na jesień planowane jest kolejne wydawnictwo z remiksami.

Alek Lee is an international producer-dj and live performer.

he is well known for his long and eclectic DJ sets, Where he can take the crowd on an unknown journey, exploring and blending smoothly all kinds of music genres and grooves, from dub to house to his own original sounds & Edits.

In recent years, Alek has emerged in the mainstream as an underground electronic indie-pop producer, singer-songwriter, and percussionist. He creates original productions and remixes, and is also a band member in his other projects, ‘Shame On Us’ and ‘Project Runaway.’ Alek has performed on some of Europe’s most renowned stages, including Fusion and Glastonbury. He has made international radio appearances on platforms such as Iggy Pop’s show on BBC6, David Holmes on NTS, Peggy Gou’s Boiler Room, and the legendary French station Radio Nova.


Tune in for his expertly curated selection of digi-dub, boogie, and yacht rock, which creates a washed-out, dub-pop sound befitting of its place of recording sat at the edge of the desert and the sea.

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas, presents a sensational collaborative organic house album by Hamza Rahimtula and the Rajasthan Folkstars. It's an Indian folk fusion that combines the artists' Indian heritage with traditional house music from the Western World.

The tracks on the album transition between organic house with Indian vocals and traditional instruments, through to jazzy, soulful house, inspired by the classic sound of Chicago.

Hamza Rahimtula is already an established producer who has released music through various Sol Selectas compilations. This is the first time he has done a full release of original material for Sol Selectas, and his tracks can also be found on other prestigious record labels ranging from Nervous Records to his own WindHorse Records. He is also one of India's most in-demand underground DJs.

All ten of the tracks have been made in collaboration with the Rajasthan Folkstars who with this album are making their first official release. Rajasthan Folkstars are a group of Indian musicians who add live vocals and instruments to Hamza Rahimtula's DJ sets, and this time they have joined him in the studio to augment his album with vocals and live instruments.


"Baras Baras" is a soulful house track with jazzy piano chords and thought-provoking, spoken word vocals layered over a deep bassline, while a traditional Indian string instrument called a Sarangi plays a haunting melody. This track on the album is the most in-line with the classic sound of Chicago house.
