That's right, there's a day all about the history and love for pianos. As a 6th edition, following the Piano Day, an annual worldwide event, created by Nils Frahm in 2015, ECU label is launching its very first Various and physical CD release with enlisted help from outstanding contemporary classical and electronic music artists, as a close team!

The 88 Notes reflects the piano in its diversity and allows artists from different styles and backgrounds to connect and celebrate the piano together. For the first guest on ‘in Passing tides’ slyn is ecstatic to be joined by one of her biggest inspirations,         
 ‧₊⋆•‧.°₊‧⋆.₊˚•⋆.°.‧₊₊‧.°.⋆•₊‧.‧⋆˚•₊‧⋆.⋆‧₊˚•⋆.°.•‧₊˚•⋆. Slowfoam   .°.⋆₊˚•‧₊.⋆•‧₊.°.‧₊⋆•₊.°•₊‧.⋆₊‧.‧•₊˚.⋆‧₊‧.°.•⋆˚₊.⋆‧°.⋆°. ‧₊

Slowfoam, who has curated the first thirty minutes of the show, navigates the frontiers of ecology and technology, delving into interconnectedness transcending past human bounds. 

The second half, by slyn, follows her last months spent working with the sea, encompassing her feelings of helplessness, nostalgia, wonder, and hope, which she felt during this time. 

Both taking large influence from the dynamics of natural systems, drift through an hour of textural ambience and meandering sounds.

Esplorare la montagna riesce sempre ad incantarmi. Il cielo continua a trasformarsi. banchi di nebbia e un po di vento.. l idea e'quella di raggiungere. la vetta e di tirar fuori dallo zaino l attrezzatura per catturare il paesaggio sonoro. ma la minaccia di acquazzoni improvvisi e alta, in ogni caso decido di arrivare fin lassu'. troppo rischioso, anche perche' sprovvisto di una copertura adeguata, decido di scendere un po piu a valle.Trovata la giusta location mi preparo l'attrezzatura. le aste, i microfoni , gli antivento, il recorder e le cuffie. si crea un armonia, una pace... il canto degli uccelli che risuonano liberi dalla presenza dell uomo. il sussurro del vento che muove le foglie, increspa l erba alta, fa ondeggiare gli alti fusti. le batteria della sony e del mix pre 10 ii sono ancora abbastanza cariche per continuare a registrarer. ad un certo punto la pioggia....smonto in fretta tutta l attrezzatura e parto in cerca di un riparo sotto il cielo che si faceva sempre piu'grigio......falso allarme.... e ora seduto a bordo strada accanto alla mia macchina, un po' di restoro ed un po di stanchezza. Ma l entusiasmo e l emozione ripagano......Un ringraziamento alla natura per la sua saggezza...
