well here it is! my first original. holy shit... i am so thrilled (and terrified) to finally be releasing this song!! i wrote "I Just Want You" at the end of last spring; it's a song about a girl who means a lot to me, and how i felt when i met her for the first time. if you know me well, you know that i've been writing songs ever since i started making garageband beats in middle school... now that i am about to graduate college in the spring, it feels right to finally put myself out there as a singer and songwriter in addition to being a producer and dj! this isn't a perfect song by any means, but it absolutely means the world to me and i really hope it will mean the world to some of you, too.

special thanks to kevin chapman for lending me his mastering talents, and to jeff sontag for lending me his studio and helping me record my vocals- you guys are the greatest.

recommended: drive to the ocean with somebody you care about and play this song as loud as you can with the windows down <3
