Due to unfavourable weather conditions, my yearly Ruby&friends garden party, originally planned to take place outdoors at Marrakech Club, had to be relocated indoors. However, this unexpected change transformed the event into something truly extraordinary! A 14-hour-long epic underground party full of energy! I'm thrilled to share with you a 2.5-hour excerpt from my extended set, which followed Golan Zocher's performance. Recorded live at The Clubhouse in Gianpula Village Malta on 13.05.2023. From the outset, Paul was captivated by the journey-style sets crafted by pioneers like Sasha, Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren, Deep Dish, and Dave Seaman, along with remarkable local artists who shaped the sound in the late '90s and early 2000s. Their steadfast leadership in pioneering and pushing their sounds sparked a passion that fuels his DJ career today.

Each month will see a guest DJ produce an exclusive mix for our LOST / CAST.

February’s edition comes from Gowzer. 

Steven McGowan aka Gowzer, hails out of Glasgow UK. When not performing, he spends his time in the studio creating his own music aided by a passion of over 25 years in Electronic Music.
Having early influences such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren to Paul Oakenfold to name but a few. Gowzer has spent many years playing at various Glasgow clubs and the occasional international booking alongside some amazing guest DJ’s. Recently picked up by Droid9, Tradeston Records and Electric Eden Records. Over the years Gowzer has had a lot of time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about tapping into the mood and using deep hypnotic grooves and atmospheric vocals to get your head and feet moving.

With a 2 track EP coming out on L O S T very soon, Gowzer’s journey is safe to say, is on the rise! Be sure to keep a look out for that release, but in the meantime, check out this exclusive mix he has put together for us!
