The issue concerns us all - but not everybody is interested. Germany plans to reintroduce data retention. A political majority in favour of this plan is safe in Germany - thus only the EU can prevent further steps in this direction. For this reason the association "Digitale Gesellschaft" (Digital Society) wrote a letter to the European Commission yesterday (June 20). It wants the Commission to intervene.
