"Based in the eclectic, high paced city of Los Angeles, Alixandria Andre, known by her artist name Etari, is a Dj and music producer that fuses her love for ethereal grooves through imaginative productions, diverse Dj sets, and inspired studio mixes. With vibrant visions of pursuing her passion for music, she taught herself how to Dj at the age of 16 where she first started mixing with CDs on an ancient Numark Universal Mixdeck. With daily practice as a bedroom Dj for the first five years, she discovered bits of her artistic style which guided her to where she is today. Etari is apart of a Brazilian based label called @YellowIslandRecords where she released her debut EP “Healing Herself” which features spacious, melodious cuts with raw, rhythmic patterns that make it her unique sound. She is the host of Yellow Island’s monthly radio show called State Of Mind Radio, where she expresses her natural-born creativity and brings on other talented artists to showcase their profound expertise to story-tell through Dj mixes. With a career that stretches back nearly two decades and has covered the running of multiple respected record labels (TurningSpork & Contexterrior), collaborating with Ricardo Villalobos and compiling fabric 47 he's got a lot of props to his name. He's also been a firm part of our booking agenda for the majority of the time we've been open. 

With his next date just a few days away, Haze has delivered a mix to bring in the weekend. Easing in with a meditative introduction be keeps the mix delicate and intricate, pulling from the minimal core of his collection...

Boasting a catalogue of distinctive music Funnuvojere turned two this year. Its eight release comes from Clarinets the new alias of Tbilisi based Gacha Bakradze. Invisible Path is the title of this EP, a name that seems to reference Gacha’s own nimble movements across cities and genres. It started in 2015 with a rather ambient LP with Apollo Records, and has recently seen him releasing a third LP with Barcelona’s Lapsus Records. Despite this new skin, Gacha’s identity can still be strongly felt in Clarinets.
The four tracks composing this EP highlight Bakradze’s mastership in designing harmonies. Graceful frequencies rise from the title track, driven by a steady arpeggio that builds and explodes in multiple directions. ‘Dry Bridge’ uses classic balearic sounds to decorate a powerful bass line, evoking an accelerated sunset at sea. The same balearic iterations define the deeply emotional ‘Knee’, in which the sound breathes and expands skywards. The closing track ‘Afternoon’ is a warm house ballad to round-off the last moments of a long after-hours session.
