A well crafted piece divided in 5 different moments that portrait the mind state of L.F.T. living in an industrial city with mechanical and optimized routines. Sharing the A side is the punchy and muscular "Alles Was Du Hasst "and "Atomic Enigma", the last an introspective and mysterious slow tempo ebm-ish piece. "Zersto?re Eine Stadt" featuring vocals from Rosaceae is an emotive piece expressed through distortion pedals, revealing the poetic side of rage and trauma. "I Don't Like Your Party" plays around a playfully sinister melody and charmingly offbeat vocals that give this track a unique groove. "Dead Rat Under The Table" cools the whole EP down, ending it as intense and mesmerizing as it started.

Following up on his collaborative Ep "Middle Of The Road  Less Travelled" with Michal Turtle, HOVE is back with another solo EP on his imprint Light of Other Days. The ﬁve breezy and balearic-tinged tracks were recorded and produced in HOVE’s home studio in Zurich between December 2018 and June 2019.  On "In Motion" HOVE’s sound evolves from drifting and dreamy ambiences into tape-saturated mid-tempo bumpers  right back into shimmering chords, spiked with echoing guitars  and ﬁeld-recordings. As with its predecessors, he interweaves organic sounds with seductive rhythms and percolated ambient pads into a dense yet familiar HOVE sound. "In Motion"  is inspired by the pure feeling of listening to House, Synth-Pop,  Wave, Dub and New Age records. It is HOVE’s third solo EP  and his ﬁrst release of 2019.

Production duo Ess o Ess come through with a swirling roller of a track – Voice inside, which is remixed than none another than Fabric stalwart and all round scene heavyweight Craig Richards. The remix takes the tune into a more frenetic and almost disjointed territory, while all the way remaining inherently playable musically interesting. 

There’s lots of elements to this track, by the end it’s almost completely morphed into a different beast. interesting – yes, hard to fathom that something can evolve so much without you realising – a testament to the remixer’s musical dexterity.

PREMIERE: Ess O Ess - Voice Inside (Craig Richards Authority Clash Remix)[Not An Animal]

Dannie Fade emerges as an artist to watch with a fresh single on "Sinchi" that comes with off kilter remixes from Roe Deers and Tolouse Low Trax. The not for profit label is once again raising funds for the Sinchi Foundation and the support of indigenous people, which has never been more vital given what is going on in the Amazon right now. Fade only debuted his first music in 2018 after four years DJing, but has been making melodies and rhythms since youth, playing both guitar and piano. Inspired by the likes of Red Axes and Identified Patient, he shares his latest vision here, and it is a compelling one. The arresting ‘Demolition’ will re-wire your brain: it has sinewy synths and crashing hits scattered over a crawling, menacing groove. Squelchy bass underpins the whole freaky trip, which exists in some twisted world where techno and disco collide. Tolouse Low Trax is the solo project of Detlef Weinrich, who also works as part of the Kreidler group and is resident at Salon des Amateurs. Here he flips ‘Demolition’ into a chuggy and elastic, hypnotic dehumanised groove. It is mysteriously empty and atmospheric throughout, and for that reason keeps you locked. Roe Deers is a Lithuanian-based audio-visual project with credits on Throne Of Blood and Ombra International. His remix is the hardest hitting of the lot, with surging drums and endless synth loops that hurry along with warped sound effects and knocking cowbells for company. These are three brilliantly inventive, genre defying tracks and mark another high point for the Sinchi imprint.

Rwandance is collaboration between Rwandan dancer and musician Evariste Karinganire and cello player and electronic music producer Andi Otto, brought together by a chance connection.

Inspired by Steve Reich, Mark Pritchard’s Harmonic 313 and Otto’s mesmerising musical experiences touring India, Otto built software to translate the intensity of Karinganire’s hand claps into different synth notes - the structure and time signature of traditional Rwandan music providing the framework for Otto’s creations, new instruments and sounds incorporated into its parameters.

Otto follows a path similar to many producers from Latin America’s burgeoning electronic music scene but instead of using Andean folk music as a starting point, he reappraises Rwandan music mirroring traditional sounds but similarly, re imagined through a contemporary lens.
‘Rwandance’ follows Otto’s 2016 link-up with Indian singer and actress M.D. Pallavi and underground hit ‘Bangalore Whispers’, a showcase for his original approach to cross-cultural musical dialogue. He has since cemented that reputation with subsequent albums 'Via' and 'Bow Wave', weaving global sounds into his distinct sonic approach.

Producing and releasing music since the early 2000s, under the Springintgut alias and under his own name, for labels including Multi-Culti and his own Pingipung imprint, Otto draws on minimalism, electronic music and sound theory to create work that’s as considered as it is engrossing. “Rwandance” is respectful and bold at the same time; Otto hews close to Karinganire’s hard-learned traditions, while unpacking and reconstructing them in unique ways. 

Otto has long nursed an interest in creating music with a hypnotic quality, and working with Karinganire provided the perfect platform for exploring this. ‘Igisasa’ is a prime example, a slow-building track built around Otto’s custom-built thumb piano, Karinganire’s vocal, and a gentle acid bassline.  It’s underscored by a long-nurtured interest in repetition, developed through tours of India – where he saw four hour, trance like performances based around one note – and an artist residency in Kyoto, Japan.
A pioneering force, he developed a digital sensor-extension of his cello, the “Fello” at Amsterdam’s radical STEIM centre, a reflection of his interest in repetition in music. It’s seen him featured in a London Science Museum conference on the history of electronic music. He teaches a course at a sound art academy in Bern, Switzerland, called 'Repetition is Change', where he leads students in considering how we relate to sound. “I’m thinking a lot about repetition and change and the dialectic between these two words,” he says. “It’s like brushing your teeth: you do the same thing every day, but if you really look at it, it’s new every time.

There was more profit to be made in this place and as he weaved and wandered between the lost souls of the night he thought about his life back home. The small town streets and the smiling faces of those people that had raised him, if only they could see him now. The music echoed with a hollow bounce as the walls moved beneath the flickering glow of strobes and flares. He took a deep breath and walked forwards into the blackness...

This is the second release between the collaborative duo which is Kincaid and his father Blancmange. They have previously released music together on Moscoman's Disco Halal imprint and was widely supported. Their new EP is even bigger.

It's time for celebration ! As the Worst Records adventure goes on and on, let's take a moment for a multiverse reunion in the form of our first Greatest Hits compilation. This imaginary space is the meeting point between some figures of our hometown and others from outer lands.

You will cross the paths of the authors of the first three releases of the label, namely A Strange Wedding, Christian Coiffure and Jacques Satre (also delivering a mind-warping session under Babiah 8000 alongside Saint-Etienne's activist Farkoner). You'll also hear from Del.Duc & Basic, members of the Positive Education crew. As special guests, we wanted to put some highlights on intriguing faces such as Itako, Gil.Barte and Tassilo Vanhoefen, providing there slow-motion, heavy dream-powered tunes in the style we adore so much. Beesmunt Soundsystem and Black Seed bring up some notable contributions from outside of France, whether it is for a raindance session or a tribal expedition. 
How to sum up this whole vortex of trippy blocks of sound ? Our dear friend Eiger Drums Propaganda has the answer in the opening track : some strange things happen in this city... and this city is Saint Etienne. This being said in a malicious voice, of course.

Soundway presents the unique results of a one-off 2018 meeting in Marrakech between Belgrade-based tribal/techno/industrial outfit Tapan and the nomadic Touareg electrified desert-blues group Generation Taragalte. A dark, desolate and potent collision of the electronic drone-jazz of Belgrade and the windswept, desiccated psych-guitar riffs of the Moroccan Sahara.
There is a need to understand, but for this knowledge is not necessary. The hypothesis of God, for example, provides an incomparable opportunity to understand absolutely everything, not knowing anything at all. Give a person an extremely simplified system of the world and interpret any event on the basis of this simplified model. This approach does not require any knowledge. A few memorized formulas plus the so-called intuition, the so-called practical judgment and the so-called common sense. 
Tapan guys know this formula very well, and don't even hesitate to share it with you. Another super eclectic release from our very favorite duo from  planet Earth. Four tracks "Atlas" EP out on 12" and digitally format, November 1st.

The Futurists rejected tradition and introduced experimental sounds , and this fact, that influenced a lot of composers during the 20th century, helped them to build a concept that started the career of Barcelona based duo Iro Aka. The evolution of their music started with this EP, fluctuating through psychedelic and esoteric influences, taking as its main references the continuous technological evolution and those new techniques to make electronic music. “Futur” is an extract of the first ideas of Iro Aka. They started the project at the beginning of the 2017 and then this EP was produced then, showing the abstraction that they felt at that moment, a path drawn by different sounds that came from different people and different places.
Tapan leaves their mark on Zukunft with reimagining the original as a slowly building, tribal inspired and almost sitting in an alternative timeline. Clever use of percussive elements does not take away from the track being playable in the club.
The slightly psychedelic dance floor experience is delivered by Anatolian Weapons. Pulsating rhythms intertwine with classic drum sounds and paint a mood almost contradicting the vocals of the track. Perfect secret track for any dance-floor.

Iro Aka - Futur EP - Elephant Gait Music [GAIT01] - SNIPPETS

There was a tense atmosphere which hung in the old theatre, the red curtains parted and a beaming light emerged from the back of the stage with shocking vibrancy. He leant deep into his chair and watched as the show began to unfold before his eyes. In the darkness it was hard to tell who he was sat beside and who else might be watching with him, it should have been a private affair. Upon the old wooden stage dancers moved with provocative motion and intrigue. They left little to the imagination but delighted the fabulous crowd of oddballs. 

BAR Records was founded out of the base which was BAR, Rotterdam. An infamous venue which has sadly since closed but not without one hell of a fight. The label lives on and the next EP comes from Venderstrooik, an interesting, abstract affair which represents the weirder leanings of the venue. Sacha Mambo delivers a cutting remix.
