On September 6, 2021 I had the pleasure of recording on some wonderful guitars at the renowned Berlin Musical Instrument Museum, at their studio in Curt-Sachs Saal. 
The guitars on those tracks are:

3 Gitarre Modell "Knößing" by Richard Jakob (Weissgerber), ca 1920
4 Hermann Hauser 1 Bass Guitar Lute built in Munich in 1924

Schubert´s famous song "Leise fliehen meine Lieder" (Ständchen) - played by pan flutist Matthias Schlubeck and classical guitarist Eva Beneke. This transcription closely follows the arrangement by Theobald Böhm, who perfected the western modern flute and celebrated its improvement through these virtuosic and stunning art-song arrangements.

Astor Piazzolla: Bordell 1900 (LIVE)

In 2008, the Turkish national soccer team -for the first time - qualified for the semi finals of the European soccer championship. People on the streets of Berlin (Germany), the second largest Turkish city after Istanbul (by population), and many other German cities spontaneously gathered for street parties that lastet all night long. In this piece, the middle-eastern/turkish theme, and the drive of the B-section are inspired by the game and the general atmosphere on this day.
