He's making waves in the electronic music scene, and we're proud to present his debut EP featuring two dark and glitched minimal tracks that are set to take your music journey to the next level.

Welcome to Groove Theory.
In this episode, I have the pleasure of showcasing the talented Mahar, who sends us on a journey with his hypnotic and eclectic grooves.
Mahar is a local talent from Montreal who recently moved to the UK. He is now based in the vibrant city of London, balancing his life with his day job with his passion for music, crafting new releases and projects. He made his mark in Montreal by bringing into the scene his production style. The young producer started on his production journey in March 2021 with the UK-based label, SHUVT.resonance, and released ten tracks with the label. Mahar expanded his horizons and collaborated with Perception Records in Brussels and All Blak Records in Toronto. His debut EP, "Magnetism [SHVT003]", gained significant recognition, with established artists in the industry supporting his track "Velocity", propelling him into the limelight. Very recently, he took part in a Minimal production challenge organized by Brawther [Courtesy of Balance], with a jury composed of Cassy, LoSoul [Another Picutre] and Daniel Paul [Cabinet Records] and saw his track ranked #1 among 50 submissions. Mahar is also part of the RAWMoments crew in Montreal, occupying the role of management and A/R for Paolo Rocco's label.

Jesse Leer takes the helm for Uniting Souls Music's first offering of 2024!

Jesse began cutting his teeth in the early 2010’s, starting in the college city of Bellingham, and quickly working his way down to Seattle where he calls home now. Being infatuated with people like; Terrence Parker, The Rurals, and many other deep inspired artists... Jesse thrived around that sound in the beginning. His releases have spanned across multiple west-coast labels including Golf Clap’s Country Club Disco.

In 2018, Jesse became a resident of notorious Seattle squad Studio 4/4 and has been working with them since. Throwing some of the best parties this city has to offer, while working with teams across Seattle to bring the dancers of Seattle nights to break away from the norm, and let loose. All while growing his sound in electro, breaks, and acid. While he doesn’t like to put a label on his genre, and favors more to keep it more eclectic, you can be sure to hear a lot of inspirations from the likes of many of the leading electronica, breaks, and house artists.
