Hotel Dusk is one of my favorite DS games, highly recommend it if you haven;t played it! It's a mystery story visual novel, and has a fantastic soundtrack. This was composed by Satoshi Okubo.

Happy Star Wars Day! I'm actually not a huge fan myself, but I enjoy the original trilogy, and John Williams's score is incredible, as always. This theme in particular is quite lovely.

I'm a huge Randy Newman fan, and this is one of his most fun songs to play! It's so upbeat and catchy, and with great chords! This is one of the earliest songs he ever wrote too, back in the late 60s. Sail Away is an amazing album.

I just beat Calamity Ganon the other day, great game! I've always been a big Zelda fan, and this one threw me off a bit at first since it's so different from any past Zelda, but I ended up liking it a lot! And the music, as always, is amazing, including this lovely theme for Mipha, Princess of the Zora.

The Simpsons: Hit and Run was always one of my favorite GameCube games growing up, but I didn't seriously watch the show until just recently. I watched the first four seasons, it was great! Very funny show, and the theme is super catchy and interesting and dissonant.

I didn't really find out about Frank Loesser until relatively recently, but he's up there with the great songwriters in my opinion, especially with beautiful ballads like this one from Guys and Dolls, which has a ton of great songs!

Cole Porter is one of my all-time favorite songwriters, his songs are just so jazzy and beautiful. This is one of his more comedic songs, with lots of fun references to pop culture in the 20s and 30s, so I definitely recommend checking out the full song with lyrics!

This is one of my favorite games of all time, such a classic nostalgic Mario story. And this piece that plays during the intro sequence got my attention from the first time I heard it, those arpeggios are beautiful and some really fascinating chord changes.

I've known about this song for a long time but I didn't really listen to it closely until just recently, it's gorgeous. This is a great arrangement too, so peaceful and chill with nice jazzy chords and a simple but sweet melody.
