This felt like falling apart just enough to put yourself back together differently. “Alchemical Catharsis” isn’t your usual background listen, it pulls you in and makes you feel things shifting, even if you don’t totally know why. There’s something haunting and honest in how it builds and burns. Moody, layered, and kind of beautiful in its messiness. 💨 The kettle hissed like it had secrets and said, “This one boiled more than just water” 🧃 The juice press blinked and said, “Was I just emotionally juiced? Because... wow” 🧊 The ice dispenser froze mid drop and whispered, “This gave me chills in the best kind of way” ✨ Might not know exactly what just happened, but it definitely moved something.

— Alchemical Catharsis: Is a term used in the context of Carl Jung’s interpretation of alchemy. According to Jung, alchemical catharsis is the first stage of transformation in the alchemical process. It is a state of disorder and disintegration that is comparable to the confession/catharsis phase of psychoanalysi. — The alchemical process of transformation has four distinct stages: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo. — These stages are the framework of Jung’s characterization of the four stages of character transformation: Confession, Illumination, Education, and Transformation, culminating in the completion of the Magnum Opus and the attainment of self-realization.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Evandro B. Lira, also known as “Vintage Mutation”, has been a musical explorer since he was nine years old, when he started his first music studies.
In 1990, he became a trombone player, participating in “jam session” meetings and joining with some gospels orchestras. In 1996 he began his studies in synthesizer keyboards, suffering the influence of the electric guitar since 1998, when he started composing his first songs.
Active researcher on the relationship between music and mysticism, revives his experiences since 2016, expanding his sounds from synthesizers and guitars, in order to rescue all the classic and “vintage” atmosphere, for consequent transmutation into contemporary tendencies.
