Having only started DJing a few months ago I was thrilled to have the chance to play at the Radio Stage at Bass Coast a few weeks ago as my first live set. I was given the 9am slot on Sunday morning, and as such crafted a set that reflects a good wake up mix to start the last day of an amazing festival (or any day for that matter). I did not record that set but I re-recorded almost exactly what I played there (but I added a few more tracks). It starts with some Ambient Chill-Out type stuff and finishes off with some Nu-Disco grooves.

Sax on the First Date (May 2013)

The inspiration for this mix comes from an artist I recently discovered, Nicholas Jaar. His music is strange yet enthralling, weird yet beautiful and nothing quite like I've heard. Therefore, ten of the twenty-five tracks in this mix were produced by the man himself. I've attempted to expand on this experimental vibe and take you through many Strange Spaces and Comfortable Places.
