1. Who is your favorite jungle producer?
M-Beat, that man made some tunes back in the day, got dealt the shitty end of the stick and doesn't get enough props in my opinion. Glad he's making tunes again.

2. What are some upcoming releases you have coming out?
There are 4 tunes coming out on PPJ, Big up Drew and Aaron. There are another 4 tunes coming out on digital, through Amen Theory, big up Ellis! Other than that, I'm sat on loads and after some tweaks, I'll start getting them sent out and see what happens.

3. I think you're into cars, so if you had an unlimited budget, what would be your dream car?
I'd buried the petrol head for a fair while, but started getting bored and he's out of the box again, dream car is an easy one, Proper Porsche 911, no driver aids, just a steel body, rwd, and boost!

2024 was a busy year for Kidsonic.

Following the release of his debut album Finding Faith in late 2023, he’s since proceeded to slap us silly with a barrage of beats on an exciting range of imprints: Drumad, Beats In Mind, his own self-titled platform, Nymfo’s LFLF imprint and brand new label Mustard Music where he’s found a spiritual home and dropped some of his most impressive tracks to date.

Now with more releases locked for 2025, Kidsonic reflects over his best year to date and what he’s had to overcome. Autistic, born blind and now heavily visually impaired, Kidsonic's route up the ranks comes with its own unique challenges which he perpetually rises to with a calming and philosophical air and approach.

In his own words he celebrates his abilities rather than focus on disabilities. And he’s definitely achieved in tearing our HQ speakers into shreds with this cracking MIXMAS trip. A story told the classical 1210 way, this is a special vinyl only trip into a whole other side to the rising artist. By day, a mild mannered minimal crafstman. By night, a bad-ass wax wrangler who has the chops and confidence to try and blend Twist ‘Em Out and Mr Majestic. What’s more, he makes it work perfectly, too. I tried to get a shot of my 90s neon screen, and my cat insisted on being in the shot, as always.

I was going for an "abstract 90s disposable cup" theme with the artwork, and I think I succeeded! 😎

Straight from NYC comes this remarkable mix. Brooklyn MC T.R.A.C. has been on fire in the Drum and Bass scene, receiving critical acclaim for his 2017 V recordings debut "Life in Motion." The crafty lyricist who uniquely blends Hip Hop with DnB has, over the years, created a respected platform across the globe. Teaming up with his longtime friend and esteemed stateside producer DJ I-CUE, the two connect to create and execute a mix like no other. Entitled "Next Level Event" this mix is an ode to their 2000 Liquid Sky classic as well as a salute worldwide to all DnB/Hip Hop communities. Filled with freestyles, classics, mash ups, shout outs and live performances; expect an uncanny yet listenable experience.
