So... all these years I've been receiving a lot of messages about a proper release of "Barbarella Reloaded", definitely Evanton's finest italo disco moment. I reckon that until mid-2015 this project's releases were suffering from poor mastering and "Barbarella..." was no exception, even if this was (and remains) my most celebrated track. My laptop along with 2 external hard-drives were stolen from my car in July 2015 and so I lost the masters of all the Evanton (and not only) tracks... I had to quit or make a fresh start... I chose the 2nd option and a couple of months on "That Touch" was born, the 1st Evanton track of the "new era". As the years went by I was getting better and better on production and mastering of the songs, having left behind all those conventions of my stolen software that were keeping me "stuck" to bad manipulation of the sound waves... Eventually, from my point of view, that car theft was my... "sonic salvation"! Anyway, about a week ago I felt it was time to revisit this great track and try to reproduce the magic the 1st version had, by using the same VSTs, this time enhanced with some fresh new beats and sounds from my new equipment. The result is this single, available for free on Bandcamp, as a gift to all of you who have supported this project from the very first moment, almost 6 years ago (damn! time flies!) and saved a place in your heart for the original "Barbarella...". Hope you enjoy, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and devotion to Evanton!
