Our first Sorry Records release of 2023 arrives via Nowadays and Mister Saturday Night/Mister Sunday co-founder Eamon Harkin 🪴 Four cuts of tunneling home hardware techno and deep machine jack from Northern Ireland-born, NYC-based producer/DJ/all-around luminary of the New York City dancefloor.

A bold celebration of intergenerational NYC dance music love too! Featuring remixes that run the gambit from the deep bass synthesis of All Centre co-head and rising Brooklyn bass star Sobolik to the signature sharp 2-Step and groove-heavy Purpose Maker style techno of Sorry Records family Escaflowne (Haus of Altr, Fixed Rhythms) -- two young producers that we find ourselves sharing the Nowadays dance floor with on a frequent basis.

Old Sage EP builds on Harkin’s rather prolific recent output that has seen stellar releases on labels we love such as Oklahoma City vinyl outfit Fixed Rhythms, Hollick and Seb Wildblood’s London-based Coastal Haze, and Eamon’s own Mister Saturday Night Records.

Pilo is the main musical output of Los Angeles based producer, composer and sound designer, Cameron Ward. Fusing sounds from a wide gamma of influences ranging from techno and electro to industrial, ambient and beyond, Pilo presents a unique conceptualization of various genres and styles merged by his own signature voice. Whether it’s through the warm but puncturing bass sounds that define his dance-floor oriented material or the oceanic and transcendental aural landscapes contrasted against stochastic drum patterns that are presented throughout his more left-field work, Pilo’s music resonates with the senses, mind and body symbiotically through the vast amalgamation of emotions, environments and textures that define his sonic palette.

Berlin Based audio-visual artist and producer Max Dahlhaus contributes his first debut album on Over My Body with his energetic production along with two remixes by by talented Mars89 & Trngs.

First track "And Then It Whispered" was inspired by the atmospheric visuals of the avant-garde film "Valhalla Rising" by Nicolas Winding Refn. As Max immersed himself in thought-provoking silence of the movie, He let his imagination run wild, resulting in an ambient work that will transport people to introspective realms. Title track "Ninsei Lane." is a challenge for Max to create a cinematic but clubby banger in under three minutes. It was a fun task which to explore new boundaries while keeping the production process fresh.The collaborative track "Chrome Spine."with one another talented artists Kronom, which is crafted a club track that adds a whole new layer to the album. The album also including two remixes by Mars89 & Trngs that bring unique flavors to "Ninsei Lane." Mars89 offers a slow, driving interpretation, weaving a mesmerizing sonic journey that complements the original's atmospheric vibes. On the other hand, Trngs delivers a hard-hitting remix, infusing the track with a punchy and energetic rhythm that's sure to ignite the dance floor.

Max Dahlhaus is a Berlin-based audio-visual artist and producer known for his unique approach to music and visuals. His work blurs the boundaries between contrasts like emotional and abstract, repetition and detail, opulence and minimalism. Dahlhaus' music is cinematic, industrial, and experimental, immersing listeners in a symphony of sound. His meticulous production and mixing techniques are a testament to his expertise in the field. Sprinkle that with some major digging from the Vaults for tunes that sounded/sound ever so fresh in/out of the clubs (TIP: predominantly b-sides & unknown gems) and hey presto, I could do another 2 hrs easily>>>>
