Memoria azul

Eva Argentina Schilder, from Austria, sings this chacarera by Hugo Garnica together with her group from Argentina. Influenced by her stayings in the Northwest of Argentina, particularly in the craddle of the chacarera, Santiago del Estero, Eva knows from field research, her studies and her intensive traveling about the hardship of the inhabitants of the Northwest of Argentina who have to endure a lot of difficulties in their lives or who finally have to go to big cities, thus  leaving their roots and families at their beloved place of origin. 
Dedicated to all those people who make their living in a way that deserves all our respect.

Esta chacarera describe bien la penuria de mucha gente en el noreste de Argentina igual que en otras partes del país o en otros países sudamericanos donde mucha gente tiene que confrontar hambre y situaciones duras para llevar adelante su vida de una forma digna. 
A todas estas personas sea dedicada esta chacarera!

This composition by the Austrian singer Eva Argentina Schilder is in the style of an Argentinean zamba. It is dedicated to Eva´s daughters and can also be heard in Spanish  on the Cd MI TIERRA, MI RIO, on sale on CD Baby. 
Thanks a lot to the great instrumentalist from Mar del Plata accompanying Eva -  Santy Alegre, Osvaldo Albornoz, Ulises Zamudio  and Alejandro Valdez.

Eva Argentina, the Austrian singer of South American music in fusion with Austrian tunes, has produced six CDs with music from the Andes, Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, and other countries. Her repertoire is widely stretched,- bossa, candombe uruguayo, chacarera argentina, zamba, rasguido doble, mixed with Austrian tunes, German language, as well singing in quichua and the language of the Mapuche).
