So this is my first recording and I'm hoping to do more. I recorded this one because I like it, the dub-step version and the acoustic version. It was one of the first songs I tried to make up a guitar tab for so I thought it could be the first thing I recorded. Hope you enjoy.

I had to cover this song because I just love it, I love the simplicity of the guitar and how relatable the lyrics are. Everyone knows the story of Peter Pan but this is a song sung in the perspective of Wendy and how she is jealous of Tinker-bell and Peters relationship because Peter lets Wendy get close but not as much as he does for the person he loves which is Tinker-bell. So what I'm trying to say is that I like it because it is almost like a grown up story of a childhood fairytale. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

So I have been writing a few songs lately and here is one of them. It is called Porcelain and it is full of metaphors like most of my songs so you can interpret it any way you like.
It is a recording of a live performance, which is why I sound terrified, hopefully one day my stage fright will go. Anyways I hope you enjoy it :)

Eve Maguire is a singer songwriter and guitarist based in Shetland. Influenced by artists including Ben Howard, Daughter and Kate Rusby, Eve has developed a distinctive and graceful singing style and an accomplished fingerstyle guitar technique.

Growing up in a musical household in Sheffield, Eve was first influenced by the music her parents were listening to such as Oasis and the Arctic Monkeys. She began singing and playing at 16 and soon after made her first of many live appearances at Singer Songwriter nights in Mareel in 2013.
