More free 80s goodness brought up to date for you - this time I’ve taken a track by the Whispers called Imagination and applied the Funkier treatment. Title track of their 10th album, it's an absolute banger that's been a weapon in my crate for years and felt ripe for a bit of beefing up. It’s already a great tune that exudes early 80s boogie funk niceness so I haven’t done loads to it, just the usual crisping up of percussion and making it throb along nicely. I've been up to my old tricks again, having way too much fun mucking around with a perfectly good tune. My victim this time is the wonderful Loco in Acapulco by The Four Tops, actually written (and drummed) by Phil Collins. I had loads of fun attempting to turn this into a modern day club banger, and as always I'm giving my efforts away absolutely free. Hope you enjoy!
