This week on Spin City the always incredible Wahine took control of the show, and boy was it a monster. Wahine took control for the first hour, effortlessly gliding through genres/sounds to deliver an impeccable warm-up for her guest, none other than Alex Sartori, aka Sartorial, co-runner of, hands down, one of the best labels out there today, Tropical Disco Records. 

Sartorial took the second hour and, straight off of the bat, it's clear that this set is gonna blow yer socks off! His experience with selections and set building shines through from start to end, and caps off another top drawer show.

A man who's certainly no stranger to Good Custard, The Discography Lesssons head honcho - Ben Banjo Field joins us on the mixtapes this week! 

Hailing from Devon and now residing in Cardiff, Ben Banjo Field has always had a passion for music.

After suffering a cardiac arrest back in 2011, his friends and family clubbed together to get him an iPad to help him through the coming months in hospital, where he downloaded a DJing app, music helping him through the tough times. Since then he has gone from strength to strength in the industry.

Ben's “Beach Bar Beats” mixes have gained 65k views on YouTube, and during the 2020 lockdown he created “The Discography Lessons” to help promote overcoming mental health challenges through music. The project has been support by DJs from all over the world including Lenny Fontana, Ladies From Mars, Michael Gray, Doctor Feelgood, Da Lukas, Yam Who? and many more.

You can hear his “Drive Time Disco” show every Friday at 4pm on Broke FM, where he has been a resident DJ for the last 12 months.

After an enforced break due to a computer disaster I was back in business this week with a new webcam and some new tunes. This one wasn't free of tech issues - my glitchy USBs lost all my cue points halfway through so I had to play things pretty safe, and there's a bit of slightly shaky mixing.
