SAMOSA FUNK feat. Get Down Edits 'Daz' x DOT Music Episode #10

Black Light Disco returned to New York’s My House Radio on Monday 6th July 2020 with another barnstormer of a show full of musical delights to treat your ears to.

Starting things off was recent birthday boy and BLD Sonic Consultant - Esteban, who unwrapped some celebratory choice cuts of funky disco dazzlers for the first hour - including two brand new tracks from our brothers in booginess, Samosa Funk! 

Next up was our special guest for the evening, Brighton lad Paul Clark aka North Laine! Paul has had a string of releases on Bandolier Records and Hot Digits, with frequent collaborations with Bandolier head honcho, Chewy Rubs. This guy clearly loves his disco house and we were delighted to have him on board for Black Light Disco!

Paul's DJ career kicked off in 1977 playing jazz, funk and soul - which quickly brought the title of No. 1 DJ on the South Coast. 

More recently, Paul has been a regular player at the Bournemouth Soul Weekender as well as Solar Radio all dayers, Margate Soul Weekend, Solstice and Patterns Brighton to name but a few. His collaborations with fellow South Coaster, Chewy Rubs always hit a perfect balance of disco grooves with a unique edge to them - which you can hear for yourself as some of these gems are included in his set!
