We’re on lockdown 3 here in the UK, but that hasn’t stopped me from bringing you another hot slab of funky goodness to brighten up your January. I’ve fitted a couple of classics into the first hour along with some dirty synth boogie, bumping house cuts and some lovely disco edits… and a brand new release from yours truly. For hour 2’s guest mix I bring you something wonderfully funky from Bastian Krolzig, also known as DJ BK. Bastian’s been a DJ since 1994, is clearly a lover of good music and is the founder and curator of the excellent ‘The Art of Edits’ Facebook group, which has become a go to of mine for reinterpretations of some great classic tunes.

A sound that incorporates everything that is in the background of Andrew De La Foix: soul, funky, with the usual vintage approach and a powerful voice, that of Onye, a talented New York vocalist.
