This episode starts slowly for a change with a few jams from the recent Yacht Disco Edits 4 comp, then I pick up the pace a bit later. Along the way I play something brand spanking new from myself that I’m pretty excited about. It’s so new that it’s not signed yet so it’s just a demo at the moment, but fingers crossed I can get it out into the world properly soon! I also play something brand new, amazing and joyous from lovely people Twin Sun, as well as new bits from Musta, Bereznoy and Disco Suicide Club.

For the second half of the show I hand things over to HEYO Funk, who brings you an awesome hour of disco vibes all the way from Norway. Origimally from Paris but now residing in Oslo, Hadrien is one half of Funtowear, is an excellent DJ, and also a brand new dad! So this mix is dedicated to Emil, and what a mix it is! Hadrien digs deep through classic disco cuts and newer edits and expertly blends them together to create something sparkly and gorgeous. I absolutely love this guest mix, and I think you will too.

London-based DJ, producer and radio host Even Funkier weaves together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, Boogie, Jazz, Hip Hop and Global delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky and downright groovy. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.

As a DJ he’s taken his trademark rollercoaster genre-fluid sets to locations including Glastonbury, ADE and Westival, playing parties for Midnight Riot, Good Custard, Project Bango, Pineapple Police Horse and DiscNoTheque. And as a producer he’s released on over 20 labels labels including Tropical Disco, Hot Digits, Mango Sounds, The Disco Express, Midnight Riot and TheBasement Discos.
