As some of you might have guessed by now, music is incredibly important to me. I can't imagine not having the ability to express my creativity and discover more about myself through music; I've always had the option of studying, creating, and performing on musical instruments. I don't know where I would be if my family hadn't been economically able to provide me with all those opportunities. 

Therefore, I think it's important for me to give back. I want to do what I can to help make such opportunities available for people that otherwise couldn't afford them. In an ideal world, monetary barriers wouldn't hinder anyone's ability to experience self-discovery, creativity, and personal growth through music. Although this may only be a small contribution, hopefully I can help lift some of those barriers by donating any money generated by my new single "Everchanging", which comes out on Monday, to VH1 Save The Music Foundation. I went through a lot of dark depression, anxiety, and turmoil while writing this song. It fundamentally changed me as a person and as an artist. My experience with it over the past two years changed my perspective on how to treat the process of writing music, how to trust myself better, and how to feel fulfilled doing what i love to do.
