this is the full version of the bass only version of a song that was originally all acoustic guitars, and will be recorded with acoustic guitars and released on an ep in the future. this particular version was recorded for my dad for father's day because he really liked the clip video I posted on youtube awhile ago and is exclusively available for streaming here unless I make a playthrough video for it, but this version most likely won't be on an official release ever. it also might, who really knows.

all of the parts were played on my Ibanez btb7 bass using my axe fx 2, the clean rhythm parts were the mesa 400 amp and the lead and solo parts were a jmpre for anyone who is interested

a new partial song

i decided to re-record the whole december's rainy day ep because the new album i'm working on is basically how i wanted this one to sound from the beginning. guitars, bass, and drums are all being redone but i'm keeping the original vocals and maybe the original acoustics and just remixing everything so it'll sound basically like the full length will. i've only gotten this song done so far but i'd expect the rest to be done and released in a week or so!

Imagine, if you will, an orgy comprised of pre-'Clayman' In Flames, God Dethroned, Dark Tranquillity, and Hypocrisy while Opeth, Dissection, and Mithotyn are jerking off in the corner; everdying is the resulting 8 stringed bastard child. everdying is a one man melodic death metal band that initially began in 2002 as a side project of Johnny Dove, and had always remained in the background as he focused his attention on playing in notable Chicago death metal bands such as Cardiac Arrest, D.O.T.A.C., and Rellik but has now turned into a full-time band as of 2013. A melodic death metal band at heart, everdying has no qualms with genre skipping; writing songs ranging from black metal to brutal death metal interspersed with acoustic passages. No djent, no core, only melodic extreme metal.
