One of my favourite things about making music is twisting genres and turning things on their head. Often I do this by adding fusions of elements found in other genres. In Risk Of Rain I sought to combine some of my favourite things about progressive trance like the groove, textures, use of unusual instruments and vocals, and give them an energetic uplifting twist. 

The result is one of the most unique tracks on the album. Tribal vocals and lush atmospheres fused with energetic bass lines and a simple catchy chord riff, and of course… trumpets!
