For half a decade, Everyday Heroes have been cultivating their powerful blend of hard hitting rock, drawing from the congruent and disparate influences of its members to create a unique fusion of styles both familiar and new. South Wales has garnered a reputation for its seemingly unending wealth of emergent musical talent, and Everyday Heroes are considered firmly within that stable, having shared stages with rock royalty such as Thunder, The Darkness & The Answer. 


In the valleys north of Newport, founding members Luke Phillips and Jay Haines, joined by Daniel Richards and Lewis Watkins, worked tirelessly to establish the band as a staple of the local scene, getting two acclaimed EP’s under their belt in the process. 2016’s self titled EP, released alongside a performance at South Wales’ Steelhouse Festival, launched the band from their status as local workhorse to a group in demand across the UK. 2017’s extolled sophomore effort “The Other Side of Nowhere” followed, and it was clear the UK’s burgeoning rock scene had another band to be taking very seriously. 


In the years that followed, the band’s relentless gigging schedule and desire to hone their craft made them a stand out live act among their peers, earning slots at prestigious festivals such as Hard Rock Hell, HRH Ibiza, Winter Storm and Call of the Wild. During this time they were acutely aware of the growing demand for new material, and occupied their time between shows writing and producing songs with the intent of creating their debut full length record. In February of 2019 the band released the albums first track ‘Soul to Save’, alluding to an exploration into different sounds and a developing maturity in their songwriting. 


2020 has all the potential to be a landmark year in the band’s young career. As the demand for their live show spreads throughout the UK and beyond, their growing fanbase is soon to be rewarded for their patience with a record that celebrates both the band’s roots and their desire to bravely break new ground.
