So this mix is years overdue... As a DJ who started out playing strictly DnB I used to have a secret hate on for house music. House was always a dirty word in my vocabulary but over the years, especially during the pandemic I started to dig it more and more. My doctor said there was nothing wrong with me, it's perfectly normal to like house music.😅 I'm no aficionado but, for a while, I've wanted to put together a bunch of my favorite housey & garagey tunes. So here it is, my first ever House (and a little garage) mix Durty Wurd! Perfect for summer time boogies, road trips, pool parties, orgies etc...

Hello everybody!  Here's my mix from The Glitter Ranch Saloon at the 2017 Oregon Eclipse Festival this past summer in August!  Full of funk boogie breaks and house, with a litttle extra cheese sauce cause dammmmnn those Dumplings were good!!  This was an impromptu set, off the cuff and full of some of my favorite boogie down tracks throughout the years! "I am so honored to be back at Shambhala's 2019 season at The Living Room Stage this year. I am playing two live EVeryman and Little Giants hip hop sets. One on Saturday and one Sunday. These will be primarily hip hop sets of my original tracks and me rapping live. I wanted to make this mix different. I wanted to make a mix of all my friends from Shambhala over the years and some of my new favorite tunes fused with old school hip hop classics. I chose to incorporate music that reminded me of all the good times I have had at Shambhala over the years. This mix was made with the memory of Jon Horvath of @FortKnoxFive and Nicholas Alvarado, A.K.A. @Pumpkin , both dear friends and DJ's who we lost too soon. These men both changed the way I hear and feel music. I would not be the DJ or performer I am today without their guidance and support. I would not be performing at Shambhala if Jon did not do bring me to meet Hoola when he lost his voice and could not get on the mic back in 2013. Jon handed me the mic and said, "Alright brother go Introduce Mark Farina right now." The rest is history. We all miss them both dearly, through the Funk Family worldwide Jon and Nick's funky souls live on. Thanks to Sara and Hoola for having me back to help host the Living Room Stage. Can't wait to be back to perform at the best party in the world! I hope you all enjoy this mix."

Evan Shafran, also known professionally as EVeryman, is an American rapper, actor, comedian, DJ, and B-boy. He is recognized for his conscious lyricism, high-energy performances, and multidisciplinary contributions to music, theater, and film. Shafran is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity Association, and ASCAP.
Early Life and Education
Shafran was born in Portland, Maine, to Jeff and Theda Shafran, proprietors of Tommy’s Hardware and Scuba Diving shop. He began performing at age 7, encouraged by his mother, Theda, who passed away in 1997. His brother and best friend, Brad Shafran, is a dog lover and incredible yoga teacher in Maine. His Father still resides in Maine with his step-mother Dottie. 
Shafran graduated from Deering High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Theatre and Sociology from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, graduating summa cum laude. He later relocated to Los Angeles in 2008.
Career:
Music
As EVeryman, Shafran is known for his optimistic and socially conscious hip-hop. He co-founded the hip-hop group Little Giants with DJ/producer Pumpkin. He has performed at major festivals including Coachella, Burning Man, Shambhala, and Lightning in a Bottle, and has shared stages with artists such as Pretty Lights, Odesza, and Mark Farina. He currently runs the Independent Music Label, Little Giant Acorn Records.
Acting and Theater
Shafran's acting credits include appearances in films and television series such as Barbie, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Get Out. He starred in Storyteller, a short film that was a semifinalist for Best Dramatic Short at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. He is also an associate producer with Mir Productions, a Brooklyn-based theater company, where he co-wrote and performed in plays including If There’s Jack in the Box Get Out and Hear NYC. 
Other Work
Shafran co-authored the children's book The Little Giant Acorn, available on Amazon.  He is active in advocating for social and environmental issues and promoting diversity and representation in media.
Personal Life
