KILLER BOOGIE swashbuckled its way back onto the  myhouseradio.fm  airwaves on Monday 8th January 2024, with  De Gama leading the charge into the New Year with and a very special guest mix. 

De Gama kicks things off in style with a fistful of hot tracks from the likes of LTJ Edits, Strange, Mosaik Kollektif and Mr K. It’s a rip-roaring, belly jiggling, leg wiggling hour that takes no prisoners or asks for permission. 

And joining De Gama for this one is Milan based DJ and producer BPlan (aka Fimiani) - this guy has an unmistakable sound which draws water from the wells of House, soul, funk and disco. He has released numerous productions and remixes for a whole host of labels including Nervous Records, Toy Tonics, Large Music, Cut and Fulltime, as well as being co-owner of vinyl only label ‘Caffè Corretto Edits’. 

Included in his record bag are tracks from Quasimodo, Delfonic, Martha Dark, D’Arabia amongst other gems. Definitely not one to miss.

Happy Sunday music lovers it's time again for your weekly dose of Disco Waltons Sunday Service on NDC.

First up our beloved Greg Middleton @gregmiddleton. Greg is is a multi talented guy not only a DJ & co-producer of this show,  Greg is a radio host, event organiser & travel expert. He'll be warming things up for our special guest this evening, the mysterious Coolio Inglesasis.

Coolio Iglesias, a blind maestro from the heartland of Illinois, has been orchestrating sonic alchemy since May 2019. In the dim recesses of Chicago's underground scene, he conjures beats that defy the known musical universe, fingers dancing across vinyl with tactile precision guided by an otherworldly intuition. Born in the Midwest, Coolio's blindness becomes a catalyst for his unparalleled connection with the auditory tapestry he weaves.
His turntable setup, a mad scientist's concoction of vintage relics and modified contraptions, is as legendary as his performances. In abandoned warehouses and forgotten corners of Peoria, Coolio transforms vinyl relics into extraordinary auditory odysseys, leaving audiences exhilarated and bewildered.

Yet, the world remains unaware. Coolio Iglesias, the only blind DJ not internationally known, spins his mystical beats in the shadows of anonymity. Rumors swirl about his heightened auditory perception, attuned to frequencies imperceptible to the average ear. In the heart of Illinois, he continues his sonic pilgrimage, a phantom in the global DJ landscape, leaving an indelible imprint on those fortunate enough to witness the clandestine conjurings of this sonic alchemist.

The guest mix was a bit longer this time so my bit was shorter than usual, but I still found time to cram in a ton of the good stuff. Then it was over to my guest for an hour and 12 of top notch tunes. My guest this time was Ravy, a DJ from Bangalore, India. He’s played parties for Dynamite Disco Club supporting the likes of Moodena, and his mix is a lovely journey through high quality house and disco house flavours, with a nice afro twist towards the end.
