My debut Psytechno EP, released on @phantasmtechno (sub label of @phantasmrecords) the 21st April 2023!

There are 2 tracks on the EP, Chrysanthème, and Self Aware, that I consider my best work to date from my experiments at 125 bpm (I'm now working mostly on tracks in the 130 range as I have quite a lot already at 125). Deep distorted basslines, glitchy synths and vocal cuts, and funky hypnotic percussion, everything I love 😄

The EP has actually been quite a long time in the making, I took very careful consideration of which tracks I wanted to release, taking a lot of time to develop my sound till I was happy with the result, then even more time reworking the tracks and making the artwork, then getting the masters perfect, it's been a long journey haha.. but I'm super happy with the result!

Want to give a huge thanks to Chris Lawes and John Phantasm for their patience and appreciation of my music! And also to Darren Sangita who originally had the idea to put me in touch with Chris! Also to my dad Ajja Leu for his feedback and mastering, spot on like every time! ❤ And finally to Chris for all his advice and also some final touches on the artwork and lettering.

Psy  Montana, from Singapore started his Psychedelic trance journey from the year of 2012, where his cross cultural travel experiences got him introduced into the multitudes of music. 
His Dark Psy songs, inspired from Parvati Records and Artist Ajja, charachterised his melodies into layered synthetic rythms, created by high energy temp riffs. Starting out as a hobby artist, popular among his friends circle and performing in local parties across India and Singapore, he continued exploring his musical jounrey by sound mixings and songs on soundcloud. 
His music aims to de-condition the audience from cultural values. His unique style, charachterised by high energy melodies and crisp baselines with high bpm combined with the heavier darkpsy basslines, emerge to allow people to start questioning the rules of the game. Believing music to be a maddening outburst of the soul, his dismall sounds and heavy basslines transforms the energy of the audience to a level of transcendence and deep ecstasy. 
Montana’s love for exploration and adventure flows through his music. Being highly versatlie, he explores the dark and organic sounds of the night, as well as the clear uplifting rhythm of dawn  or the quiet meditative inquesitivities of death.
