In The Dark - preview - OUT 2nd Jan 2026

Welcome to the eleventh show of A Darker Wave Extra, our brand new format of occasional shows presented by Jacki-E & P-Mac, with a one hour mix by the show's presenters in the first half featuring the latest and best of the new techno releases and a guest mix by leading underground Techno DJs in the second.

In our mix in the first hour there’s new releases from Kasia & Charles D, Massano & Tone Depth, HI-LO, Roxy Nox and lots more.

The guest mix in the 2nd hr is by Manija, born in Argentina and now based in Mallorca. His DJ journey Started in Auckland, where he co-founded Hacienda New Zealand, an event series dedicated to growing the local techno scene and paying tribute to the legendary Hacienda raves of Manchester in the '80s and '90s. Manija is taking Mallorca’s nightlife by storm and sharing his sound through "Balearic Sessions", a monthly show that captures the essence of his Mediterranean Journey. His style moves between trance and techno, blending touching melodies with a driving rumble and heavy drums. His sets are immersive journeys where listeners get lost in his storytelling.
