Vince (aka. Electrypnose) holds a special place among my favorite artists in the Psy community. His creations consistently carry a unique and exceptional quality. Our connection deepened when he began releasing his slower Tech-style music through my label, Digital Structures, around 6-7 years ago. 
In 2021, while I was deeply immersed in the creation of my album, I approached Vince with the proposal of a joint venture. Vince shared an impressive track with meticulously crafted analog recordings, including a captivating Moog sequence that distinctly echoed the classic Perfect Stranger sound - it became the beating heart of this mesmerizing joint venture. 
Collaborating remotely between two busy artists can be time-consuming. I had to strategize how my contributions would meld with the track, create my sections, and then send them back to Vince. Similarly, he needed to find the right moments to continue the collaborative exchange. During this intricate process, I worked diligently to align the track's essence with the sonic theme of my album, and the transformation of the track into its current form spanned approximately a year and a half. Despite the challenges of remote collaboration, the outcome promises a sonic adventure like no other. And while it might not sound like your typical Electrypnose track, Vince's unique artistic signature shines through.

The Mahavidyas are believed to embody various aspects of the divine, serving as guides for spiritual seekers on their journey towards liberation. Each Mahavidya holds unique significance and may be interpreted differently by different seekers. These Wisdom Goddesses represent distinct aspects of divinity, with the intention of guiding spiritual seekers towards liberation. Four goddesses have been conceptualized in this EP: Tara - The second form goddess, Tara, is associated with liberation and provides guidance through life's challenges. Bhairavi - The fifth form, Bhairavi, symbolizes destruction and is recognized for her transformative power over time. Dhumavati - The seventh form, Dhumavati, represents renunciation and the removal of agitation. Matangi - The ninth form, Matangi, is a manifestation of Saraswati and embodies the essence of music and learning. These goddesses collectively embody a holistic spiritual odyssey, presenting listeners with not only musical compositions but also a pathway to profound comprehension and emancipation. Through this EP, Vasvi extends an invitation to delve into and embrace the multifaceted dimensions of divinity, ultimately guiding us toward spiritual awakening and enlightenment. Generally speaking I am probably not the greatest collaborator, and most of my older works were pretty much solo. If I was doing a VS track I really had to do it with the other artist in the same space, that’s how I feel it should be done, and so I refused to do a VS track over the internet till this collaboration came around. Sometimes habits got to change and so it happened… The amount of data I got from Pete & James was enough to make at least 3 tracks, and it was so exciting to me that this project was never bounced back to the brothers… but only after it was finished.

The bushfires that ravaged our home of Australia between September 2019 - February 2020 are one of the most savage and disastrous natural events that the country has ever known.

Over 25.5 million hectares of land were burnt (110,000+ square kilometres), 3000+ homes destroyed, 30 people and more than 1 billion mammals, birds and reptiles died.

100% of the proceeds from each sale of Bushfire Aid VA Series Part 1 and Part 2 will officially go directly to the Australian Wildlife Conservency’s Bushfire Response Campaign, as they work tirelessly in the field to protect numerous species of animals that are now endangered and threatened due to the bushfire season disaster of 2019/20.

Upon donating, aside from the music you will also receive a pdf file from AWC themselves with specifics on the Bushfire Response Campaign that you will be supporting with your donation.

Bassic Records has banded together 34 of Australia’s best electronic music producers to create the Bushfire Aid VA Series - 27 tracks, across 2 albums, spanning deep melancholic electronica and house, through to dark and emotive progressive techno. Not one of us is unaffected by this disaster, be it directly, emotionally or chord struck within our soul.
