Earthbound

The path through the Lands Of Kyrwrathor was dangerous.
Several clans of savages were fighting for month.
And fierce creatures were hiding in the shadows, waiting for its prey. It was a feast for them.

We decided to go at night. To move quickly, being cloaked in silence and shadows, trying not to be seen. We knew the creatures element was the night. But which choice did we had?
The fightings and battles were almost nonstop and the savages were still highly alerted through the night, when the blue glowing moon wandered along the nightsky and overlayed the land with shadows and gloam.
A scent of blood, sweat, corpses, fire and burned flesh lay in the air. Noises, voices, laughter reached our ears, combined with the triumphal bawling of creatures finding their loot and chopping their fangs into strayed, warm flesh, filling their stomachs and greed.

We moved quickly, trying to keep our sense clear and our hearts fearless in hope for reaching the end of the battlefields at dawn.
