Fireworks in East Oakland, CA.
This is a recording of fireworks from surrounding neighbors on the 4th of July, 2014.
As you can obviously hear there is no need to leave my front porch to get the full vibe of a real fireworks show such as the Embarcadero in San Francisco.

Various hydrophone recordings at shore of Lake Chabot, spray bottles, boiling rocks in water, water drips,faucet water, lake sounds, bubbles sounds made by straws, sink draining, washing hands in sink with soap, rain on umbrella, wet sponge, and various splashes. Recorded with a Schoeps Mk41 and and a binaural dummy head setup, Zoom H5, Sound Devices MixPre D, and a Sound Devices 702T.

Earlier text:   This is probably a very rare recording of the song of a Eurasian magpie.  It was recorded 2020-03-22 outside the Telinga workshop. I used two EM23 omnis placed at each side of a camera bag. The tracck is slightly filtered.
