Somehow haven't posted here for a while. I've told in an interview recently that I made an album and then decided not to release it as I wasn't entirely happy. Here is one demo from that one.

Ruxpin - The Ghostly Interpretation

My new song ‘Copper Flames’. This track was written, recorded and produced entirely by myself using an acoustic guitar and an 80s synth (as well as pre-recorded drum track). It’s a slow and melancholic ballad (like most of my songs) with narrative lyrics. I am very much inspired by the dark and sad lyrics commonly found in traditional European folk and I think that translates here. I will leave the lyrical interpretation to you. I also made a music video to this that is available on my YouTube channel (see the links on my profile). Anyway, let me know what you think. I have been making music for a few years now and because it is just me involved with this project, I am constantly learning so feedback is welcome. Please enjoy!

Copper Flames

My new song ‘We Could Shake Stars From the Sky’. I made this track entirely myself (aside from the drums) using my acoustic guitar and an 80s synthesiser. The track has a dark, ambient production. I love the sound of pipe organs which are featured here and I never understand why more musicians and producers don’t use them. I hope you enjoy the track!

I created this one quite a long time ago . This is long before it started diving into the world of Propellerhead Reason. I created this one on. Acid Pro 2.0! I remember burning CD after CD realizing that certain parts were not sounding right.

This track definitely is a reminder that we have the ability to follow through with what we believe in!

Through adversity, we find strength. This year was not without its challenges but it was without a doubt the most wonderful opportunity for growth I have ever had the good fortune to experience. Life is a gift and the human connections we make every day are all that will matter in the end. 

This set for me is a celebration of life and newfound inspiration, I sincerely hope you find joy in listening to it. Thank you to all of the incredible artists who continue to inspire me every day. As Matthew Caws said "the weight is a gift".
