Mistic is back with his brand new ‘Skankdown’ E.P.  Brace yourself as this London-based producer unleashes more heat as he continues to level up his sound on each release, while paying homage to the heritage of UK rave music.

Kicking off the EP with ‘Xeno Science’, Mistic sets the tone with an effortless blend of rapid drums and a resonant bassline to set the real feel of this track. This cheeky dancefloor number will be rolling through raves left, right and centre.

The titled track ‘The Skankdown’ starts with a much different introduction, calm and relaxing before we are brought to the attention of the rapidly rising darker features.
The build-up to the heavy and extremely naughty drop will take you to heights that will have you ready to skank your soul away. 

‘Article’ is another speaker thumping banger that will leave your speakers in need of a repair. With another head bopping bass that flows through the fast action of the finely tuned drums, ‘Article’ lays down it’s mark from the first drop. 

Finally, we come to the deep and dirty stomper ‘The Underneath’. This dread-filled banger has another salacious drum beat and snarling nasty bass that is the prominent feature. If this doesn’t leave you with a bass face, we don’t know what will!

Keep Me High

Myke started to play with loops and samples in 2003 as new found hobby. After entering remixing contests in acidplanet.com, Myke decided to do original stuff and so he created Evo Evolver, A musical project that concentrates on musical experimentation. The tunes created in that project were a fusion between his musical preferences like rock, pop, hip-hop, and electronica.
After a while, he decided to focus on electronic bass music, mainly Drum & Bass and anything in between.
