Over the last five years, Evolution Chamber has emerged as a label committed to setting itself apart. Founded by Task Horizon, Receptor, and Magnetude, the label was established as a sanctuary and creative outlet for their music. Always dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Drum & Bass, the label has steadily expanded its catalogue, eventually becoming the exclusive home for Joe Ford and Ekwols.

From its inception, the long-term aim was to not only to cultivate a platform for their own music but also to also provide a space for emerging artists to thrive, giving rise to the 'Transmissions' series. Now, with great pride, Evolution Chamber unveils the second instalment of ‘Transmissions’’. As anticipated, it promises to deliver an experience beyond expectations.

In this subsequent release, the series maintains its approach by featuring a collective of artists from all corners of the globe. Spearheading the EP is Lance Dance, a fresh face from Russia (previously part of Saint Robbers), leads the charge blending melody with weightiness with his track 'Kill You'. Adding to the mix is the debut of Polish based Belarusian Skrimor, offering a glimpse of what’s to come in the future with 'The Rave Feeling'. Returning to the label is Tenkei, representing Switzerland and infusing African influences with the vibrant 'Maho', while the familiar Austrian-Russian trio TNTKLZ offer their second serving on the series with the characteristic dark roller 'Pay Your Blood'. Bringing the release to a close is the first of many trans-atlantic collaborations by Volatile Cycle, Dropset & Konquest as they close off the EP with the vocal dancefloor destroyer 'Damocles.

‘Transmissions’ not only serves as a platform to showcase emerging talent, but it also serves as a gateway for artists aiming to release on the label in the future. The future of music is now, and Evolution Chamber continues to set upon the mission in nurturing the next generation of musical innovators.

The percussive impact of a lone T-REX’s talons echoed down the street with reptilian confidence, an emotion shared and augmented by the pompous mannerisms of the man who rode astride it. The beast’s monstrous nature forced friend and enemy alike to take reverent notice of his very presence, and the man quite enjoyed being the center of attention as his mount lumbered through the jagged alleyways that had long been his home. Lost amidst his own grandeur, his mind wandered to thoughts of childhood bullies, business rivals, and others of an unappreciable ilk. They, he smugly thought, did not have the latest model of theropod mount. His, by contrast, was magnificent as it fed upon the occasional stray or frightened bird and left a smattering of spattered crimson in his wake. 

As a science, genomic revival had been actualized for almost as long as the man himself had been alive. He had for so long dreamed of this day, having watched in envy as the folk of the upper city rode upon perfect biological chimera that answered to their every whim. Though the costs associated with the creation of such creatures had decreased significantly, such prestigious beasts as his own T-REX still lay well beyond the income of a mere android repairman like himself. Thus it was that as he had happened upon the body of his current mount clinging to life atop a local scrap heap, he had rushed to its aid and imbued its body with every piece of spare artificial biology at his disposal. Now, as the cybernetic augmentations to his beast’s ruddy hide shone lustrous in the sun, the man reclined pridefully into his saddle as he uttered a silent prayer in the hopes that his hacked together diet inhibitor would continue to keep himself off of his new mount’s menu. 

MIDNIGHT CVLT returns to EATBRAIN with T-REX, a five track EP that sees one of EATBRAIN’s most recent additions unleash a furious follow-up to 2023’s “Bloodfire” EP on the label. Marked by the menacing sonic character so alluded to by his moniker, the five tracks within T-REX are sure to induct a fresh batch of souls into the EATBRAIN horde under the sway of MIDNIGHT CVLT’s undeniable influence.

In the sinful maze of his life, amidst the pulsating rhythm of urban life, there resided a seeker. Within the confines of solitude, amidst the whispers of doubt and the echoes of societal expectations, the seeker grappled with the enigma of his purpose.

In the dance of his mind’s shadows, the seeker communed with the essence of his core. The irritating storm of voices clamored for conformity, urging the seeker to forsake the path of intangible dreams for the allure of the tangible bottom line.

Yet, in the sanctum of creativity, amidst the silence of his shell, the seeker found solace. A dogma unfolded, transcending the constraints of materiality, unveiling the truth. The truth that was the base of his path, the one that he believed in from the very beginning. For in the act of creation, the seeker discovered liberation, purpose, identity. The resolution of his doubts.

Armed with naught but the fervor of passion, in the center of the tumultuous tides of uncertainty, the seeker remained steadfast as an infinite beam of boundless imagination, unwavering in the pursuit of the final transcendence.

For in the realm of abstraction, true wealth resides in the boundless expanse of imagination, the unfettered spirit of creation, and the eternal quest for meaning beyond measure.
