Beat In Me is back for its second release. Recognized for bringing some of the most cutting-edge Romanian DJs to his event series under the same name in Tokyo, RAHA keeps pushing the envelope with Beat in Me. This time he introduces, with sincere confidence, two Japanese artists he has long supported: Tomohiro Yano and Yuji Kobayashi.

"Sazae EP" features two original tracks from Tomohiro and Yuji, respectively, and a collaborative work from both, perfectly displaying their raw talent and individual styles.
'BW 002' finds Tomohiro Yano exploring sounds profoundly connected to the Romanian house scene: snappy drums, hypnotic midrange textures, and a whole panoply of very organically detailed soundscapes that work their way into the subconscious. Below the veil, a constant kick-drum on the 1's and the 3's keeps everything marching like a dance ritual on a dancefloor. 
Yuji Kobayashi expands on the idea of hypnotic dancefloor shamanism and showcases his meticulous drum programming and impeccable sound-design skills with 'Mirror Ripples’. Modular bleeps, morphing basses, ghostly textures; everything here flows organically, like a sonic ecosystem to get lost in. 
Closing the EP with a collaboration, Yuji and Tomohiro bring their best to the game. Together, they created an even deeper excursion into drum syncopation with deeply melodic undertones, a world of understated grooves made to get lost in time and space. 

Displaying a unique knowledge of house and techno music with minimal character, "Sazae EP" seems like the perfect alternative for those thirsty for the type of tracks hailing from Romania, with an added Japanese sensibility that perfectly fits those dancefloors craving for intensely hypnotic grooves.

東京で開催する同名のパーティーにて、[a:rpia:r]を始めとする数々のルーマニアンアーティストを招聘してきたRAHAの主催するレーベルBeat In Meの第二弾。今回は彼自身もかねてから強くサポートしてきた日本人アーティスト、Tomohiro YanoとYuji Kobayashiの２人を世界に自信を持って紹介するEPとなっています。

"Sazae EP” には、TomohiroとYujiのそれぞれから2つのオリジナルトラックと両者のコラボレーション作品が収録されており、彼らの生き生きとした才能と個性的なスタイルを完璧に表現しています。
’BW 002’ では、Tomohiro Yanoがルーマニアのハウスシーンに深く結び付いたサウンドを探求し、鋭いドラム、催眠的なミッドレンジのテクスチャー、そして非常に有機的に詳細に作り込まれた音景が、潜在意識に作用していきます。ベールの奥では、1と3の絶え間ないキックドラムが鳴り響き、ダンスフロアはまるで踊りの儀式を繰り広げるかのように進んでいきます。
Yuji Kobayashiは、催眠的なダンスフロアシャーマニズムのアイデアを拡張し、'Mirror Ripples' で彼の緻密なドラムプログラミングと完璧なサウンドデザインスキルを披露しています。モジュラーブリープ、変形するベース、幽霊のようなテクスチャー; ここにあるすべては有機的に流れ、音の生態系のように時間を忘れて迷い込めるものです。
コラボレーションでEPを締めくくるYujiとTomohiroは、最高のパフォーマンスを発揮しました。彼らは共同で、深いメロディックアンダートーンを持つドラムのシンコペーションへと更に深く旅立ちました。穏やかなグルーヴの世界は、時間と空間に迷い込んでしまうようなものです。

"Blue Hill unfolds his dubby rework of this classic with a mellow intro. It's a stepper that pays homage to Billy Boyo and his anthem. Adding a second layer of delay on top of the vocals, Blue Hill's created a rich low end that sings positivity - driving evil far away. With reggae chords spiralling around the smokey theme and stompy kicks that set the pace, the Swedish producer exercises his skills in delivering a three-coloured production. The switch in melodies and percussive elements makes this a true tribute to the original. This one commands the selection whenever a proper sound system presents itself - it's a truly rhythmic foundation shaker…"
