CULTURA PERDIDA is a podcast that attempts to explore the experiences of Puerto Ricans who were born on the island and made their way to the continental U.S. in search of a better life, and of the experiences of those who are continental-born. In the interviews, we wanted to get a sense of how culture and tradition survive or perish the migration. We also examined the circumstances in which continental-born Puerto Ricans struggle to maintain identity, discover their heritage, and the choices they make to conserve it.
