Exact Change Project is an independent hip-hop fusion group from Queens, New York City. The foundational members of this groove-inducing duo is Vocalist Formula J and Composer/Producer Luge. Exact Change Project continues to travel the world, connecting with international musicians and using the inspiration from these experiences to propel the sound and feel of their music. Concrete Canvas transports the listener to different places around the globe, inviting them to tap into the emotions of the scenes that inspired these songs. This album provides an introspective into some of the most serious topics that the band has covered to date, including, love, death, education, and police brutality. Concrete Canvas is an honest document filled with funky, dirty, hip-hoppy, jazzy grooves fused with conscious melodies and lyrics, providing a tight seal of freshness and originality.
